The command-line parameter -connect is reconized and supported. So if you know the server address it can be passed (with port) like so:

Skate3.exe -connect 192.168.1.123

Notes

• The PC version lacks instant-replay and the music credits video
• Shortly after its release, a lot of PlayStation 2 players jumped to the online community on PC
• frag-net exclusive: You can use the -vidparms parameter to select a custom video resolution of your choice without having to hex-edit the original game binary. For 1280x1024 at 32bpp you can do this: Skate3.exe -vidparms 1280 1024 32.
