Early in the 21st Century, mankind made an unbelievable discovery - one of enormous scientific and historical significance. Too bad it will lead to Earth’s destruction!

Now there’s only one hope and his name is Sam “Serious” Stone.

Serious Sam has one chance to change the past and save humanity from total extinction. He must journey to ancient Egypt and traverse vast, open desert levels where massive pyramids dot the landscape, concealing deadly crypts and perilous passages beneath.

• Serious Monsters bent on introducing you to the afterlife. From Giant Scorpions to missile-launching Biomechanoids, you’ll have to shoot, blast and rocket your way through all of them. And that’s just the first level!
• Serious Weapons, innovative and plentiful to help you maim, kill and destroy anything thrown in your direction.
• Serious Editor and Modeller to create your own levels, models and enemies and then import them directly into the game!
• Serious Multi-player 2-4 split screen / Co-operative Play. Via the internet or LAN, play the entire game with others online or rumble in a deathmatch. How much abuse can your keyboard take?
