What does the American dream mean today?

How-To-Play On-line

Ensure you're patched to version 1.0.8.0 or 1.0.7.0 (if you don't have EFLC).

Get GTA Connected, a launcher that will enable rich, authentic, scriptable on-line multiplayer. It's built to run on new and old hardware, as well as Wine.

Hosts need to port-forward 22000 TCP/UDP.

Note: Users of the Complete Edition (the one on digital stores) need to secure a copy of GTAIV.exe from official patch 1.0.8.0 and place it to this location:
Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV\Retail\GTAIV.exe
Letting GTA Connected use this binary is necessary in order for multiplayer to function, as this edition of the game was stripped of multiplayer on March 19, 2020.
