It’s November 2023, and we at Frag-Net would like to give a small status update about the site and it’s future:

First, our Master Server had some unexpected downtime recently. The root cause being our server was strictly setup for manual interventions but now we have boot scripts for automatic and unexpected restarts, which is what happened to our Master Server. So in the future, if the master has a freak reboot, it should now only be a rare and quick timeout. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these issues.

Second, we’d like to thank everyone who expressed interest and or was able to attend our Halloween Event. It went off without a hitch and all involved had a great time. It seems likely we’ll host more in the future with better planning, and we’ll try to focus on games that can be hosted on Frag-Net or our Partners and don’t require Steam.

Third, we have returned our site theme back to normal. We hope you have enjoyed the change up as we are considering some more such as a Christmas/Winter theme.

Lastly, there has been work on improving Frag-Net where we can. We hope you have enjoyed the news and articles we have posted this year so far, with our News hoping to grow a bit more involved as time goes on. You may have also noticed our new magazine sections had some small issues, but we have been tackling bugs and have been making the process entirely automated for adding new links.

TL;DR We have been fixing issues, tackling new features, polishing the site, and quietly have been working on some cool new stuff we can’t wait to show.
