Source code availabilityThe source code has not been released. There were multiple projects to document and reverse-engineer the game, the most relevant nowadays being Daggerfall Unity. While not entirely free-software as a result of running on top of the Unity Engine, it is very much appreciated and the sole reason we can play Daggerfall Multiplayer at all.
How-to-play On-lineYou can play Daggerfall Multiplayer through the use of DFU-Tanguy-Multiplayer, which is powered by Daggerfall Unity. It requires the use of Steam.
DownloadsAs of July 9th 2009, the game has been released as freeware by Bethesda Softworks. Below you can find the original, full copy of the game as released by them. The installation instructions for it are here.
