A Rogue fights for one thing, and one thing only.

Himself.

That is, until the day he was betrayed by the only man he'd ever called a friend, and sent to the gallows to hang. Just as he was to be executed for his crimes, a mysterious bieng in the form of a horned skull fills his vision, and his vision alone, with a deal the Rogue could not refuse. In exchance for his life and a chance to get revenge against the "friend" who put him in this situation, the Rogue must find and smuggle the Egg of the Phoenix for this death-entity. If possible the Rogue was to subvert anyone attempting to protect the Egg.

It is a deal the Rogue accepts - and just as he thought the noose was to kill him, he was instead only knocked unconcious. The executioners, in tradition, had left his body to dangle from the rope overnight. So under a full moon the Rogue cuts himself down and gets his revenge by slaying his so-called "friend". The horned-skull's voice fills his head after the murder, instructing him in no uncertain terms that it is now the Rogue's turn to fulfill his end of the deal.....

The Rogue is a thief by nature, assassin by trade. He has no morals and no allegiance to any God, nation, or family. He will do whatever he wants to make himself happy - wine, women, and gold are the things he enjoys. The Rogue is a fast, silent killer who shuns heavy weapons and armor. His skills with knives is unique only to him. As far as spells go, he only bothers to learn that which will benefit him the most - namely deception-style spells. He does not work well in a team, but when he must he perfers the flank, where he can quickly dart in and out of enemy formations, and be able to sneak around behind enemy posistions to get in close for the kill.
