A Diviner is a mystic who is attuned to the invisible forces of Life which permeate the world. She alone senses the true source of the world's decay - a powerful bieng strong in the powers of Death has been unleashed. She knows only that this force is powerful, and not of this world, but until recently she had no idea as to what this entity intended to do. At the time of the massacre of the Druids in the Temple, she was overcome by a Divination; a viewing of a horned skull attacking the Phoenix. She does not waste anytime preparing for her quest to protect the Phoenix, and therefore, Life, from this powerful evil.

Diviners are not physically strong, and therefore rely more heavily on thier spells. Diviners prove their true worth in a team, where they provide a team with strong defensive spells. Offensively, they are best kept in the rear of formation where they can be protected from enemy onslaught while casting Lightning at long range targets. One other strong advantage of the Divinver is that she starts out with the most available spells at level 1.

The Diviner Config file reads like this:

The keys in red are specific to the Druid. The other keys are defined in the autoexec.cfg and are the same for all classes. To learn more about these key settings, click here. It is pretty safe to change the bindings to the white, undefined letter keys if you wish.

Diviner's Unique Spells

Toggleable - press "1". This increases the power of her staff by imbuing extra inertia into her attack swing. Once struck, the target is launched backwards. Distance and strength of damage increases with experience level.

Has same properties as a single Call Lightning, except that multiple lightning strikes are launched in a small area to increase the chances of a direct strike.

A toggle for Call Lightning, Chain Lightning enables the branching of lightning to targets near the impact site of the first lightning bolt. Radius of effect increases with experience level.
