NOTE ON 5.25 DISKS
In November 1997, Apogee discontinued distributing any game
on 5.25 disks, both High Density and Low Density. This was done due to the extremely low
sales of this format. Please see the chart above for availability of the 3.5 inch disk
format. Ultimately, we intend on moving to CD-ROM only on all titles.

The books listed above are books that we sell direct. There
are other books about Apogee / 3D Realms games that you can purchase online. If

NOTE ON COMBO CDs
Starting in April of 1998, Apogee has started moving towards
being CD only on our games. We're combining several titles onto single CD's, and as
such, some games are no longer available individually. The following games have been
affected by this (so far):
Math & Word Rescue
Commander Keen: Vorticons & Commander Keen: Galaxy
When you call up to register one of these games, the only way
to get it will be to also get the other one on CD too. However, if you
order the registered downloads from our store, you can obtain Math
Rescue, Word Rescue, Keen Vorticons, and Keen Galaxy individually.
NOTE ON INDIVIDUAL EPISODES
Most of Apogee's games prior to 1994 were available as single
episodes. We ceased selling the older games individually in 1994. They are no longer
available in that way, you must purchase the entire series of whatever game you are
interested in.
NOTE ON CONSOLE GAMES
Some more recent games have
been distributed in some console platforms (Playstation 2, Xbox, Gameboy
Advance, etc). Apogee/3D Realms does not and has not sold these games
direct. If you can't find them in your stores, you'll have to try
something like Amazon.com or Ebay.
NOTE ON MAX PAYNE
When it was first released,
Apogee/3D Realms sold Max Payne 1 for the PC directly. That ceased a
few months after Max Payne 1 was released, and we no longer sell this title.
Likewise we never sold Max Payne 2 in any format. You will need to
look elsewhere if you wish to purchase these titles.
